Our Inspiration
In November 2008, Splash Dog opened for business, owned and operated by Amy Thier and Traci Szwed. Having seen first hand how swimming had improved their older dog's quality of life, they knew there was a need for a hydrotherapy pool in the Chicagoland area.
In January of 2010, Amy's dog Bailey passed away, and ten days later Traci lost Tully. Both dogs lived long & happy lives and continue to be the inspiration for Splash Dog.
